Kathleen had a good physical therapy session today and replaced her old trach with a new one (it will now be a monthly change until she is able to go without one). Reportedly, the trach that came out looked much better than the previous month and her breathing has improved dramatically.
The Davey's received two touching letters from researchers at UCI today responding back to requests for help. Though they both stressed that the research was too early to help Kathleen, they also encouraged us not to give up hope.
