Happy MLKjr. Day!
The girls were excited to sleep in "mommy's room" last night and Kathleen slept very well. Perhaps their comfort helped Kathleen to better cope with her infection.
Interesting story about brain injured woman who went to Germany for stem cell therapy. Hopefully more details will emerge regarding this story.
The Schmanski family, which is taking their 16 year old daughter to China to undergo stem cell therapy is making a national media splash regarding options that are available in developing countries abroad but not at home in the United States. If your congressperson voted against the stem cell bill, please call him to voice your anger. The bill narrowly missed the 2/3 votes required to avert the president's veto. See this logical editorial in the Salt Lake Tribune.
