As the family prepares to travel to Kathleen's brother's wedding in Phoenix, the decision was not to bring Kathleen. The 13 hour car ride could potentially be just too much for her. Sadly, that means that Kathleen is going to miss another major family event. No new news on her condition, and the new medicine has not yet arrived. Kathleen is, however, continuing to follow her neurogenic diet in hopes that it might spark some cell neurogenesis.
I know you will miss Kathleen and so want her to share all the family experiences. It is uplifting that you regard her so highly and respect her opportunities for joyful inclusion. There will be other events closer to home, but that makes this time no less disappointing. Safe travels.
