Kathleen went to eeg biofeedback therapy yesterday. Her mind seemed more "alive" than in previous sessions leading to the hope that it might be helping. Time will tell.

Kathleen seems to again be plagued by another bladder infection. The nurses were called on Monday (and finally came today) to test her. It should take 48-72 hours to know for sure, but until then lots of extra water and cranberry extract.

Kathleen was mentioned both on the radio and in USA Today on 2/22 in reference to Dick Davey's being forced out as SCU coach despite currently residing in first place.
See the USA Today article

or listen to a discussion about my dad and our family,
or read a very nice article written by Mark Purdy also had a in the Mercury News.

A new study on stem cells shows the particular value of embryonic stem cells.

W.O.W.!!! What wonderful writings on your dad. What a man!! I admire his spirit, not letting others bring him down.
So glad that Kathleen is more aware. Praise God!

God is good .... all the time.

I hope the eeg feedback CONTINUES to make Kathleen's brain come more and more "alive" each time! :) I don't know how the process works (maybe you could give a brief explanation?) but at any rate, I'm continuing to think good thoughts for Kathleen, as usual! :)
