Kathleen isn't feeling well today. She is shaking and sweating and the caregivers are giving her extra liquids and vitamin c. Though Kathleen wasn't feeling well enough to go out, the girls had a nice Halloween nonetheless.

While scientist continue to
test stem cells on rats, rather than people, Kathleen is about to miss her 4th straight Halloween with her daughters. The girls have apparently emerged from their days as princesses as they are going as a 'dead bride' and a 'vampress' this year.

Kathleen got a flu shot and a slight cold at the same time. Next week her mom and my dad are going to take her to get botox injections in her arm to lessen the spasticity which has again become more acute in her limbs.

Kathleen has seemed to make it through the first wave of colds this season brought home by the girls and I without getting sick.

A book entitled, Dick Davey: A Basketball Life Richly Led, is now available on Amazon.com and other on-line outlets, including abebooks.com, booksurge.com and alibris.com. The author, Chuck Hildebrand, is donating the proceeds from its sale to the Global Ischemia Foundation. Its a wonderful book about a great man and there is a chapter on Kathleen too.

Kathleen and the girls had a nice visit from Bean's cousin Peter. There was lots of laughter around the room. :)

Congratulations to Kim and Alvaro. Samie and Rachie have a new cousin. Kyra Kathleen was born on Monday evening weighing 7lbs 15oz
